PIRAN STRANGE

Inspired by the notion that within us all ‘lies a Piran’ – a heroic streak that enables us to shine and commit acts of derring-do, the enigmatic Mr Strange has, since his first exhibition in 2006, exhibited his unique style of contemporary art to an ever-increasing clientele.

Piran Strange is, in fact, insurance broker David Barrie’s alter-ego. Initially Piran was the source of confidence that demonstrated to David’s twin boys when they were at art school, the potential for anyone to succeed, if they tried. As director of a UK insurance broking company David Barrie remarks, ‘I discovered the confidence to display and market a remarkable contemporary artistic talent through the inner spirit I call Piran Strange’.
