NOT YET REGISTERED

You may register online now. Once you have completed your registration form you will be requested to pay £20 online which will cover your registration and the fee for your first work of art. During the registration process you will choose a username and password.  This will then allow you to log in and submit digital images of your work, along with your CV and Artist Statement.

Artists may submit UP TO 6 ENTRIES EACH AT £20 each.

Images may be submitted from February 1st until the final deadline extended to September 5th 2010. No work will be accepted after that date.

NOTE

All artwork must be priced at reasonable market rates to enable the public to make purchases...please do not overprice your work as this does not comply with the spirit of the exhibition.

ALL artworks entered into the competition must be for sale. Prices cannot be altered once they have been stipulated. Limited edition prints can be sold at two prices; with or without a frame.

INITIAL JUDGING DATE: September 14th 2010

All artists will be sent emailed notification of the judges’ choices by September 16th 2010 (within 2 days).

Successful artists will then be requested to submit their work(s) which MUST arrive at Goodwood Racecourse on 11th or 12th October 2010. Submissions may be made by Courier or Personal delivery. Detailed courier dates to follow.

The 500 short listed works will then be judged by our panel of judges on October 14th 2010.

All artists will receive emailed notification of the judges’ choices by October 17th 2010.

Successful entries will be transported to The Minerva Theatre Gallery for curation into The 2010 National Open Art Exhibition.

Prize winners will also be notified individually by email and/or telephone and are required to be able to attend the prize giving at the Vernissage (Private View) held immediately after the artists preview on October 29th 2010.

Both successful and unsuccessful entries will be notified of collection dates for their work from Goodwood or Chichester Art Trust offices by email as required.

All works must be available for exhibition to The Chichester Art Trust until the advertised events have been completed. This may include events both in Chichester and London.

All works must be available for sale at the various exhibition venues and also on the online gallery either until a sale of the work has been made or if the artist has requested that the work be withdrawn from being offered for sale on the online gallery.
