HOW TO ENTER

PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED

• Did you Register in 2010 or 2011?
• Use your 2010/11 Username and Password in 2012
• Your previous details will appear. Update them if necessary
• Follow the instructions and pay £20 to register
• You can now submit 1 digital image of your artwork (max 6 entries)

NOT YET REGISTERED

• Complete your Registration form
• Select your Username and Password
• Pay £20 Registration which entitles you to enter 1 x artwork (max 6 entries)
• Now use your New Username and  New Password to Login
• Login to Submit digital images (with an artist's statement for each) and Upload CV

NOTE

ALL artwork must be priced at reasonable market rates to enable the public to make purchases...please do not overprice your work as this does not comply with the spirit of the exhibition.

ALL artwork entered into the competition must be for sale. Prices cannot be altered once they have been stipulated. Limited edition prints can be sold at two prices; with or without a frame.

Successful entries will be transported to The Minerva Theatre Gallery, Chichester, for curation into The 2012 National Open Art Exhibition.

Both successful and unsuccessful entries will be notified of collection dates for their work from Goodwood or Chichester Art Trust offices by email as required.

All works must be available for exhibition to The Chichester Art Trust until the advertised events have been completed. This may include events both in Chichester and London.

All works must be available for sale at the various exhibition venues and also on the online gallery either until a sale of the work has been made or if the artist has requested that the work be withdrawn from being offered for sale on the online gallery.

USEFUL TIPS

We are looking for representational or non-representational work including painting, drawing, print making or photography in any medium.

We will also accept multimedia assemblages but they must be able to be wall hung, no larger than 183 x 183 cms and protrude from the wall no further than 20 cms.

The exhibition cannot accept video art or exclusively computer generated art works.

When submitting your images please make 100% sure that they are in jpeg format and no bigger than 2MB (The ideal size is about 1MB, but images should also not be less than e.g. 50KB). Images which are in the wrong format or are incorrectly sized will not be accepted and will not upload on the website.
